    bODY kIT pRICE!!!

    Hey, I just bought a body kit for my 93-97 .... im having a close friend install it for me... but i was just curious on how much it would cost if i brang it to a place.. and how much to get it painted too.... thanks...

    i got quoted 1K just to paint the bumper, screw that. I can find a better price than that.

    Well you could find one of those DIY shops that just charge you a fee to use there facility, You do all the prep and paint, but it's a professional result.

    Macco's not going to install a bodykit. Great place to have it painted as long as it comes pre-prepped. If it needs to be prepped, forget Macco.

    Install is going to come down to many things, type of material the kit is, is it being molded in, is it a good fit or was it mass produced and would fit better if you let your neighbors kid make one out of popsicle sticks. Will they have to cut, trim, re-glass it, etc. But you'd very easily hit $800. Don't forget you pay by the hour plus whatever problems occur they like to charge double for.

    and maaco isn't always the cheapest, you shop around, and you'll get a decent price, I got my bomex front, toms sides, and trd rears painted, perfect, and fiberglass fixed up a little for $225. maaco wanted 550-600

    best bet is to shop around.. personally i didnt like the job macco did on my car crappy job

    it's not too hard to paint a kit...all you'd need is a room without moving air, a spray gun(and air compressor) and the right paint and clear coat.
