Some serious help needed, intake & exhaust, FIRE!!

ok. Gonna start out with my setup, go into daily, then tell you tonight.

2.25 straight through, with cat, muff both straight through. Headers also. Intake is modified to be shortram kind. I removed resinator, and the box with restrictions, so its just drop box with k&n.

Before: when i hit the gas at all to accelerate i was told i had smoke coming out back. I drove 200 miles today.

NOW: I drilled 2 square inch holes to give some more air flow. I have K&N drop in from the beginning. Well i figured this might help a bit. It didnt, and i think problem is bit worse. I floored it coming out of place, friends were being me in there cars. I wanted them to look for smoke. I floored it in 2nd and went to third. Then reved engine (i have 5-speed), and they said at 1 of the revs, i had fire blow out, not to much, but it was fire they said. Only that 1 time. I think personally it was just build up or particle from past. Cause now it doesnt do it. If you rev engine up slowly and keep it at constant 4 or 5 thousand. It does fine. But if you hit it and let off and hit again in reving, it smokes. It doesnt smell like oil at all either.

So car im assuming is still running rich, someone mentioned spark plugs, i have the bosch 4 spark kind. I changed the wires and stuff when spark plugs approx in november.

Im thinking the o2 sensor after the cat has something to do with it. Sense it gets like same reading as first one at headers does, do you think it is causing it to think it needs more fuel or something like that.

    Any advise or ideas needed!!!
    THANKS

my dad and i checked the spark plugs today. We checked the center to. But they show signs of running perfect pretty much. Im wondering if cutting the holes is making it run better, cause when i first pulled out and floored it, it seemed bit better than normal. But my exhaust and shit if solid black inside, so im wondering if now its just blowing that shit out at instant high flow exhaust through it when acceling hard.

Yeah, i think its just blowing the carbon out when it gets hit hard. Since the cat is not there to do its real job and filter it, and let it just evaperate out over time like.
