just wondering if any of you know how to do this...i have an idea but a DIY from somebody who knows a little more about electrical stuff/wiring would be nice (i.e bulb placement, type of bulbs, wiring details).

btw, i'll be doing this to my 98 corolla

(ps. i know i can get the glow gauges from ebay, but i like the way this looks)

yeah i think it's just an LED's behind each needle...i'm not quite sure...if the guy that did this or anybody that knows how to could let me know how to that'd be great (his was an 03 rolla...saw it on cardomain)

except you can barely read the gauges.....

i don't think he has the lights on...but i'd replace the bulbs in the cluster with blue led's too

I love blue lights but those are super hard to read. Plus, with my eyes, I'd have a hell of a time trying to figure out how fast I was going.

okay...this is just a reminder...THESE ARE NOT MY GAUGES...i was just asking how to do it.

what i was planning to do was replace the stock gauge light bulbs with blue leds and then add these little lights...which imo would look like a better version of the reverse glow gauges on ebay.

the problem is nobody ever seen the glo nedals itself so no one knows how to frabricate it..

BTW LED behind the cluster is a bad idea, LEDs only produce a narrow angle of light

a friend of mine change all the bulbs in his honda with a blue led, it looks cool as shit but he said it was a pain in the ass.

you need to get the leds light up brighter and wide range. to do this, get some sandpapers and sand downt the round top of the led. dont sand it down too far. just enough to get a smooth flat led.
but i dunno how to install them or anything. i think you need to ask vamp bout this.

why not just get glow needles? i've seen them on a site b4, i got the link of some guys cardomain... if only i could find it...

that looks like a mod ive seen where there is a small led ring that they just slide under the needle base. actually i think its the same as the glow needle thing.
