    Have a hard time getting that drum off? And how did you break the lug stud? Looks like the keepers for the springs broke as well and came out...

    well...thats what happened to my car thursday...the shoe came off and then went all around and fucked everything up...the stud broke cuz the damn lugnut was like stuck on there...now i need a new axle hub assembly and new shows and prolly end up getting drums too...

    You don't need the hub assembly, just take it off, knock the stud out, and pop a new one in there.

    And yeah, replace the drums and shoes... and springs and keepers and all that...

    yea, i dunno what im gunna do, gone to a junkyard today to see if they have the parts...possibly get a new front bumper too

    word of advice when concerning brakes... NEVER use the term junkyard when talking about repair of those. :)

    well all i was gonna get from the junkyard was the hub assembly...but i think i might just throw a new stud in my old one and then get new shoes and everything

    UPDATE : i went to pepboys today and got a new stud put in...now i just need to get the shit for the brakes them im good to go

    when i heard the hear deadening noise that came when i hit the brakes...it was straight up metal to metal...the pad came off the shoe

    nope, did it tryin to get the lug nut off...but its fixed now...just need to get the brake parts now

    just to let you guys know the corolla is back in action with new brakes...i just installed my rear brakes yesterday and boy do they feel good, even better than b4...now i basically have all new brakes around because i just had did the front brakes like 2 weeks ago...woohoo...im guessing i'll be good for bout 30,000 miles...hopefully i will have a tacoma before then...
