    97 Base interior

Hey all.... Any tricks to removing the interior trim in a 97 that I should know about? I don't want to take the chance and break something. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

there is a screw in the door handle. take off the cover where the mirror is...it just pulls off.

get a rag and shimmy it on the window handle to get the c-clip off. that's for manual windows.

then, you should be able to just pull the paneling off. feel around the edges for the points where the clips are and try to pull the clips themselves rather than just pulling at random places on the door.

after you get all of them, you should be able to lift up on the panel and it will come off the door....make sure you use caution so that the door handle doesn't get broken. it should come out of the panel fairly easily, tho.

Cool! Thanx. I'll watch for those. I noticed the clips already. I'll be sure to pull from them.
