Need Help Buying A Memorial Car

Ok guys....a good friend among our group down here in S. FL was murdered this past week, as I've mentioned a little bit before. I had an idea. He always wanted a ballin' car, something old skool that he could pimp in. So I am thinking about getting some people together to work on this car in tribute to him, hook it up, and show it at local shows in his honor.

I have a garage to work on it in. I'm also looking for people who would be willing to donate time and energy into helping us out, so if you're interested, please let me know. I know "YOUROWNREALITY" has offered to let us abuse...I mean USE his services for electrical work.

If you know anyone who can donate paint, rims, supplies, interior materials, audio, ANYTHING, it's greatly appreciated. Even if it's something you just have lying around your garage, it's appreciated!

Our friends down here don't really have the money, cause we're all trying to help out with supporting other parts of the costs, and we're all going to be putting money into the car in parts and labor, so we'll be paying that way.

CPat, I really wish I could but I'm barely making my rent and I have no clue how I'm even gonna pay my car this month.

Perhaps after showing it in a few shows, you should donate it to a charity in his honor, after it has been brought to show condition. In that way, his memory will leave behind more than just showmanship, but real purpose. That would really be an excellent way to continue his memory.

I'm hoping to get about $750, and call the guy and ask him if we can buy it cheap when I tell him what it's for. If that's already gone we're going to try to buy his old car from his mom, but she might have to sell it for more than we have so that she can pay for funeral costs.

and the car is either going to go to his sister when she's old enough (she's 9 right now) or to his baby that his girl is having.

Second of all...we got a car!!! We got my friends old 84 Lincoln Towncar. It was the one he was working on when he was killed, and his mom is selling it to us for $500.
