    Power window conversion

So I've been seeing these auctions for window regulators/motors on ebay, like the one here. Is this and a switch to control it all that I would need to convert the car to power windows?

I'm thinking it can't be that easy though...

The question would be is the wiring in place in your car ?? Running wires through the door grommets is no fun. The wiring is in place on 98 and later but I do not know what year that started happening. CW

that is 60 bucks for one thing. you need 3 more plus a keypad. not worth it imo.

I've seen people say that the cars come prewired for power windows, locks and mirrors, since some obviously had that stuff as options. Is this not the case?

I'd hit the junkyards for the cheapest route, but there's always the dealership if all else fails.

What parts would I need for power locks? I know I'd need the switches, but what else? I know how windows work, I just can't justify the extra weight when I've got arms that need a workout anyway.

You got a 98 CE but how do you have 01 headlights? hmm I think you gotta change the interior door panel so the arm rests extend out so u can throw on the switches cause we got no space well at least not on mine. plus thats gonna be a pain in the ass unless you got a hook up for installation and parts. but it sure beats rolling the windows by hand that shit gets boring and annoying when ur trying to talk to the hottie in the next car and u gotta lean foward to roll down the windows...how unslick haha.
