93-97 Chassis handling, how much power?

How much cant the body and axles and all hold power wise. Like if i were to spend 6g to do a 3SGTE swap, or spend 4500 and do a 4AGZE swap. Can the body handle a 3SGTE swap, or will the torque and power crush the axles and shit.

    Thanks

There was a guy with a 3S-GTE in his 98-02 Corolla that made 400+hp. It's essentially the same chassis as the 93-97, so I would assume the AE101 would be able to handle that kind of power too.

Honestly not that many people here have done the 4AGZE or (GASP!) the 3S-GTE swap on this board. lol Most of us are broke and stick to moding our headlight bulbs. The folks over at http://www.club4ag.com/ may be able to help you out a little bit better.

Wish I had contact info for Tommy....he was V8Killa on the old board.....he'd be able to answer your questions. He was putting out the most hp on the boards.

But over all the body and stuff should be able to handle the 245tq and 225hp off the bat from the swap? I thought it would, but i know i cant break 110mph due to instability. Although fastest i go is 80mph anyways. Cause by x-mas, i can have 6-7 thousand between a loan and some saving up. My parents will do that for me, they know i can pay it off and shit.

If anyone can give me more info let me know. Im still exploring my options to sell car and get different, or build this up as the ultimate corolla, or in the top 10 of them, hehe.

I used to hit 105 or 110 in my old ae92's, maybe you should get an alignment and new tires, it would stop the shaking. Somebody already had a 3sgte in a 93-97. His went for a long time I believe. Go over to corollacustomz.com (canadian corollas), and pm 3sgte.
