    LSD - what exactly does it do?

    Iv heard a lot about LSD. But what exactly does it do. I think i know, but iv heard 2 different things that are exact opposite, LoL. So tell me what it is please.

    ROFLMAO...That was a good one...Supposed to keep you from spinning the tires--Very good mod for someone with power. The SRT4's have this since they are FWD.

    limited slip is when torque is transfered from the spinning wheel to one that isnt. also a disc will lock the two axle shafts together so they spin at the same time thus there is a minimal amount of slippage.

    They're expensive, though..a Quaife (lifetime warranty, even when raced) will run you well over $1000.
