I know in Cali that any work done on a car has to be pre-approved and signed by the owner. If he was dumb enough to sign a work-order to have the hood painted, his fault. If the "bodyman" was dumb enough to do work without having his customer sign a workorder, then it's his problem and the owner shouldn't pay.

seriously - who needs a "body man" to install a damn hood?? it's real tough -

    1) lift hood, remove 4 damn bolts holding it on - result:

    2) place CF hood where old hood was and replace 4 damn bolts. result:

tough huh? (btw these are mad old pics of my old car when aasianrick got his cf hood but his car was getting painted - we were bored and wanted to see how it looked so we put it on my car lol)

but hey - this guy should look at the bright side - his CF hood still serves its purpose (weight reduction) while now looking like a stock hood that will not tempt theives. [IMG]
