i'd have to do it in a way that would weigh less, i did one custom box in my trunk and it was too heavy, made me scrub atleast 30% more. so my second trunk, i want to look similar to yours, yet weigh less and have less options. like battery extra amps etc.

Does you Pioneer remote work good in that location on the wheel ? I was considering getting that type for my system.

na... not that much... im guessin about 20-30 lbs of wood? something like that...

the sub box itself weigh the most... using 3/4 inch mdf... the stand-off/tray for the sub, batter and amp... i used partical board... didnt use too much of that... i believe those were 1/2 inch...

and to cover it all up... 1/8th inch boards were used... the ones that u see for cabinets... the back cover thingy...

the extra amps weighed a lot... im guessin around 10-20 lbs each...

and the monster cables... those weighed a lot... im guessin 5-10 lbs...

so an grand total... of... 60-100lbs? before it was prob 50-70lbs... in the rear i mean...

    and thanks guys!! :D :p

i still have to get the front and rear camera installed...

not sure how low ur springs/coilovers are... but mine is at 1.6 inches... b&g... and i dont rub at all...

im still thinkin about going with the full race coilovers... gonna cost me 1500 for it though... thinkin...

this setup is not heavy at all... i have ppl where they need two ppl to carry the box... hell... some sub woofers even weigh more then 50lbs per woofer...

if u want it light... then go with fiberglass... hell... maybe even not have a system in there...

i didnt roll my fenders after i put my rims on, and now i have a kit so it weighs me down a little more in the back. i have tokicos with stock springs on in the back. when i had this big box in my trunk, and i would hit bumps and i would hear a scrunch; and now without it i hear it a lot less. but i am redoing my audio system, so i will have to put some weight back in the trunk again. i hope my setup has the same cleanliness as yours though

Very Nice, Check out my ride http://www.ridemods.com/carpc, Did the whole thing for $750 and I can play Nintendo & SNES games, Listen or watch any media type and surf the web :). Also let us know how your alternator holds up if thats a 2nd battery in your trunk, I heard some rumors of alternators dying left and right trying to charge 2 batteries.

prodigy hasn't rolled his fenders, we are apprehensive about it, the baseball bat just sounds so destructive :(

but sean2sean your trunk looks great, you did all that yourself! how much time did it take once you had all the materials to get it all done?
