So you needed to actually cut the wires ?? , Only 2 ?, Check the battery connections and also the connection of the smaller guage cable that comes off of the positive connection also check the other end of the ground wire where it goes to the car itself. CW

    Electrical Problem

I couldnt find a proper forum to post this so I thought interior is the closest one..

    ok here is the situation:

Yesterday me and my friend (who paints cars) got started to paint my trunk because the clear coat faded from the sun... so we got the trunk lid off and we had to cut the cables that connect to the reverse lights. That's the ONLY electrical thing that we messed with...

so this morning, after it's all dry, we put it back, I connect the cables back on, but wtf... the lights dont work... whatever I did, they didnt... so I was gonna go home and fix it there. I get in my car, and again, WTF...my A/C is not working...and right now here in Orlando it's 11AM and it's close to 90 already. We look at the fuse box but can't see anything wrong, so again, I say I'll fix it at home...

On the way home, there was a third WTF, and a forth, and a fifth!!! my Speedometer is not working, my temperature gauge is not.... my E brake light...my odometer. The only thing that I got working were the turn signals and the gas gauge

I just came home, checked all the little fuses ( the 5, 7.5, 10, 15, and 30) but they all were fine.. and I have no idea what to do now..

    Any help?

Look under the hood for another fuse box. There is an interior fuse that controls all of those.

Actually did... there are 3 fuse boxes all together... and I check all of them...

The one box that says A/C there is a 7.5, 10, 10, and a 30... they are all fine... I even switched them with the one that I know are working like the horn, hazard fuse and a spare... still nothing

ok.. I fixed the problem guys :D

I forgot there was a 4th Fuse box inside the car next to the steering wheel.... one 10A fuse blew and when I replaced it it's as good as new..

(had to do take out the - side of the battery to reset the ECU because the "check engine" light was on)

but thanks for the help none the less
