I saw the pics someone showed, and it looked like his car just sits in the sun. That may be a reason for the cracking. IMO

his car is cracking because he didnt reinforce the extra bondo or fiberglass.. a good bodyshop know enough to wel in some extra metal in the wheel whell and use aircraft grade epoxy for widebodys..

did anyone else notice the stops he put under the rear wheels in the engine swap pic? He put really flat walkway bricks behind the tires to stop them from rolling. LOL. What a retard

I gaurantee that 15 years from now nothing will be done, and you guys will still be whining about how some guys was smart enough to scam you out of your money and you all just bent over and took it like bitches.

If you're not gonna do anything about it...that's pretty much all there is. Stop whining. Go sue him, or beat up the ride, or do something...but leave it in the past unless you have something new.

Nope, the reason that the bondo cracks is because you are not supposed to use only bondo to make a wide body. The widebody panels should be made of fiberglass, polyurathane, or metal. Any of these materials can be shaped in anyway that is needed. Its the crappy workmanship that caused the cracks.

As you can see in this pic:

the filler is seperating from the panel itself. To do this right the panel would have to be smoothed out and then a duplicate would need to be made. Its not worth anywhere near $9000. Maybe a grand at most.

If it were done right the sun wont make any difference.
