he claimed cause with his previous setup which wasn't as good as this one, he ran low 14's..he says he could probably run 13's with a bit more boost

there's this dude 3 blocks down that gets FUCKED up 2nd gen rx7's and rebuilds them to street, he's pretty cool, i'm sure he knows what he's been doing since he's been rebuilding rotaries since 1996..anyways, he has this white 88 rx7, 10th aniversary, rebuilt turbo engine, ported and polished, goundcontrol coilovers with tokico's, racingbeat turboback exhaust, blueprinted fuel injectors, basically everything is in stock form or better

he wanted $6,300 for it..it has 300 miles on engine, he's still breaking it in, 120k miles on chassis, leather seats, power everything, he claims it run's 13's in the form it's in now with the stuff he has..

would you guys get it..i can get some pics tomorrow..body is in good condition and there's a bit of rust about 3 inch square behind the passenger door, other than that, i think it's a pretty good car..but the cost is kinda up there

that's a bit much for that car. regardless how nice they may be, they require a LOT of maintenance...and they have very low gas mileage.

lots of fun, though...the turbo II motor is probably the most solid of all of them.

i'd still and try to bargain him down. seems he's feeding off the Initial D dorriftuu fanboi craze.

yeah its a 10th anniversary, id have to find him, i lost his number, i know a few people with an RX-7 most of them are show ready, theres this one guy i know hes got 4 of em, and hes sold about 6 since ive known him, some how hes always got a differant one

"probably" doesn't necessarily mean reality.

keep something else in mind...if it's the 10th anniv, it's the heaviest of the FC bodies...so that might have something to do with the times he's making. he could EASILY get 10's out of her.
