    98-00 Projector Question

I was wondering if i were to use the concept of vamp's DIY for converting from 98-00 to 01-02 headlights (plugging in a wire harness that allows for two sockets per headlight, 9005 and 9006 i believe) to allow for more light output from the 98-00 projectors that they sell on e-bay. i figure if it has an opening for a bulb in each lens then you could hook it up like the 01-02 headlights and there would be more light.

am i right, or am is this just another futile attempt to make a crappy product actually work?

i posted this on CC but nobody really had that much input....

ps- projectors are at an all-time low (around $100 shipped)

vamp's diy site works perfectly for switching those head lights, follow his instructions and you'll be set, it really really really works, not crappy, just the correct fit, get everything at Auto Zone (the sockets) it's like $20 total and works perfect. look at www.cardomain.com/id/prodigy3006 for finished results on a car where we used vamp's page and are extremely happy w/ results.

because, according to everyone else with those projectors, they don't produce enough light....so i figure 2 light bulbs are better than one

oh, and strobes are illegal to drive with, and i don't need another reason to get pulled over

it fitz perfectly, i got it from VIS Racing...yes, itz a Celica spoiler, but when the action package 1st came out I liked the spoiler so I measured my trunk, measured the celicaz and measured the spoiler....and now I got what I wanted...it cost me $350 total. i installed it myself w/ the help of 1 of my friendz, no modificationz, just some precise measurementz.
