Turbo setup parts cost estimate guess???

How much to get a turbo setup with a decent intercooler, blowoff valve, intake manifold ect. ect. would it cost for the parts alone? I was guessing around 1500 or less. Maybe more. To push no more than 10psi, but more around 7psi. This is for a 95 rolla 7AFE

the things that are going to get you are the intercooler, and the piping, and the BOV, because you know that you are not going to want a crappy one.....that is what got me, BTW did you think about your fuel management?

If i turbo my engine will be completely rebuilt. Like a brand new engine. So to push 10 would be decently safe, 7 would be easy.

Expect to pay at least 3K for a setup.

Yeah, expect to pay at least $3500 for a decent setup...Oh and please dont try and run 10lbs of boost. That's too big of a risk. I am running 5lbs and that's enough for me for now. I would go as high as 7 but no higher. Just be careful with it man.

Good thinking...But new isn't always safe...Built is. Mine was new when I put the turbo on...Still was told by my mechanic to only run 5lbs and no higher than 7.

BTW, he has over 17 years exp. with Toyota's.

If you are talking about upgrading pistons and rods and stuff like that it's cool...But stock will not cut it.

I would have to agree ... I didn't have a good boost controller and I was spiking at 10 all the time... I definately have internal damage now... so if you want to boost more than 7 safely, I'd suggest upgrading internals.
