I have 17's on my 02 and it shouldnt rub, just make sure you have the right backspacing.

    Mine are 17 by 7 with a 40mm offset, and I'm running a 205/40/17.

Ask vamp, he had 17's on his ride, buts this is what I have found out

    Rims for a 01 Corolla

Some guy in my college is selling some 17" Konig Rims off his VW GTI for about $320 w/ tires. ( I still dont know the tire size)

The question is will these rims suit my 01 rolla? Won't they rub against my fenders? anyone else here got 17"s on an 01.

I've hear various people say 16" is the way to go on a 01-02.

17's will do fine...I have been though 2 sets but you will more than likely have to roll the fenders, but that's not hard.

Exactly how do you roll the fenders? I just put some 205/55/15 BFGs on mine and they rub going over dips in the road at higher speeds. Also can you do it without messing up the paint?

    VW is 4x100

Roll them by taking a bat and pusshing toward the outside from inside the fender well. As far as it not messing up the paint... well, doubt it. I've not seen it work 100% without at least cracking some. But just make sure you primer it to prevent rust and it's inside your wheel well so no one will see anyway.
