    Toyota Loyalty Poll

OK, just to check how many people have been sold on Toyotas. Answer the questions:

    1) How satisfied are you with your Toyota?

    2) Do you see yourself getting a Toyota as your next car? If so, which one would you like to have? If not, which other brand would you prefer ( i.e Honda/Acura??? ).

As for myself, my baby 04 Corolla S just turned a year old. It has been one awesome year with this car. It never disappoints me. It is lots of fun to drive and a nice peppy powertrain. No problems at all with the car. Not anything to get excited about, but definitely quality lives up to the name. Totally happy with my Toyota.

Yes definitely, my next car would be another Toyota or if I get rich by that time :p a Lexus! Most likely, in a sport sedan category such as the next generation Lexus IS300 or hopefully, if toyota comes out with a sport sedan smaller than the Camry, but bigger than the Corolla with lots of fun and excitment.

ok...i'm loyal to my current car. i will NOT get a post 2003 Corolla if they continue to get more and more bubbly. if anything, i'll get a Subaru or a Lexus....but that's assuming i get a new car. ideally i'll be getting an old, tiny POS and sleeperize it. why? because i'm motor swap happy.

i'm also considering a truck(F150 or Lightning) or wagon(Subaru), simply because i know my parents won't have the minivan forever, and i don't know how often they'll let me borrow it once i move.

yeah, i like Scoobys...the standard AWD owns me. as does the new 05 Legacy wagon...mmmmmmtasty...and FAST AS HELL for a wagon. i like Ford trucks overall(for the truck category) but the Lightning is just one hell of a fun drive.

i guess you could say i'm not loyal to one brand PER SE...altho i've owned a slew of older toyotas...and i will probably always own a yota as the "other car".

agreed. like i said, that's the ONLY downside. it looks badass, it drives REALLY nicely, and with 250HP out of the box it's a really, REALLY nice car.

and if someone sayd the XRS can compete they have no idea what they're talking about.

i'm waiting for it. frankly, i'd take anyone on in a Legacy...the sedan wouldn't be too much heavier than our cars, and considering how many people put heavyass sub boxes in their trunk that would add to the weight of their car.

add an extra hundred+ pounds for driver weight, and the corollas start getting heavier.

scuse me while i go drool some more over the Legacy..

I'm intensely loyal to Toyota. In fact my whole family is too! My parents' first car was a 1977 Corona. This was replaced by a 1981 Corolla. Ten years later we replaced it with a 1991 Corolla. This one became mine when I got my license in 1994. I drove that until I replaced it with a 1988 Integra. That was mine for a little more than a year before it was wrecked. The replacement? A lovely 2004 Corolla. I loved it so much I convinced my sister to buy one too.

    1. I'm insanely happy with my 04. I'm modding it, and although there's not the glut of stuff out there like there is for Civics and Integras, it makes all the more fun to do so, since it turns into a hunt for aftermarket parts. Plus, while I see more and more 03-05's on the road, few, if any have done anything with them, so it makes my car stand out all the more. Plus, with some of the lackluster styling that the last generation Corollas have had, seeing a new sportier design is great. And of course there's that whole Toyota reliability thing!

    2. There's a high likelihood I'll stick with Toyota for my next car. Assuming I'm making more money then, an IS 300/Altezza is looking mighty fine to me, not to mention the tC. Shoot, if I'm still a tuner-type at that point, I'd do an xB.

    2) 93-98 Supra or 90-95 mr2 maybe future carz 2 go along w/ the Rolla, otherwise I'm w/ falnfenix w/ the scooby's, AWD baby! I'm a big wrx/wrx sti fan, not the wagon though. I'll take my trunk thank u.

Hey i'm new. i registered for this post but will post more (not the point) ...
    1) I love my 91 Corolla. It was 122K on it and runs like its new, i've maintained the car so well and its really dependable. its my second toyota, i use to be a HUGE Honda freak, but my first car was a 82 Toyota Supra, and after having that car a few days i was a toyota lover. and when the time came i got my 91 Corolla.
2)I deffinatly see myself getting another Toyota, another corolla, a 88-93 Supra, Celica, or 4runner. Toyota has become my favorite car. oh, or a Scion xb. (becuase its toyota made lol) my dad has a 03 Toyota Tundra and its one beautifull car, i love any toyota, becuase there great cars.

    1) satisfied.... never heard of anyone being able to still drive 100 miles on a broken tranny or over 3,000 miles on a motor w/ a blown headgasket and no oil change....

    2) just bought an 86 mr2....

i probably won't buy a newer toyota... i'm not too fond of the way they look, and the sludging problem (dealing with it in my smallport) isn't something i'm too keen on either...

I'm very satisfied with the Corolla and the Land Cruiser. Whole family owns toyotas , from Solara, Camry, another Camry, Lexus LX470. The only non Toytoa is a S500.
Next vehicle will be another Toyota, either MKIV Supra or IS300

    1. we are a toyota family and have been satisfied except for the power door that no longer works in my moms van.

    2. FUCK NO. right now the only toyota i would buy would be used from their "sports car era". if they actually come out with a volta or some other rwd sporty car then maybe i would buy those.

My first car was a 91 geo prizm, and I abused it royally. Taking it up way past the 85 mph mark til the point the meter got stuck. over 150 neutral bombs, before the tranny blew and we gave the car to charity. Next car was a 92 corolla. I swear to god it was a lil faster than the prism, but hey they are supposed to have the same engine. I was at a stop sign, and my friend decided not to stop and just run into the back of me at 35....2nd one down. Now have a 2001 S. Thoroughly enjoy it. Hope it lasts me a long time.

I will be buying more corollas through my lifetime. Probaly lots of them lol. I want to get a ae92 and drop 20 grand into and turn it into an MR car. but that will never happen.

    1) Satisfied because of the reliability, economical, etc. Very dissatisfied with the cheap plastic interior though. Annoying rattles in some places, and the clips that hold the plastic panels are garbage.

    2) No way I buy another Toyota. Overpriced, underpowered, and bland. Toyota doesn't have anything in it's lineup that matches what I'm looking for in my next car.

loyal, yeah. in fact, if i had been allowed to get a stick (my parents were helping me pay for the RSX) i woulda gotten a GTS instead.

as for my next car being a toyota, can't really say. i dont plan on another car for another 5 years, unless i get a used daily driver or project. I would hope so, but it all depends on what is out. I'm thinking i might acutally import a new toyota that's not stateside for my next car, maybe an allion, something nice as a daily, sedan, comfortable midsize, but still something not available here :D

Another one? Not unless it's another MR2. Corolla has it's ups and it's downs. Overall good though. And older Toyota's are the shit, just not big on the new ones.

Next car... all muscle... I'll be scowering the junkyards for the first dumbass that fucks up one of those V-10 or Hemi Rams. Then I'll start my reconstruction process on it. But 4 years of paying for a car I've had just over 3 weeks and already put over 2k on it.

Well it might be pricey next to an Accord/Camry/Mazda6/Altima, but I think of the Legacy as a entry level mid-size luxo sedan ala IS300, 3-Series, A4, etc. If you put the Legacy against those cars, it's a bargain. Besides if you want AWD, 4 doors, and more than 200hp, you'll be looking at a German brand if you exclude the Legacy.

    1) I'm very satisfied with my 04 Corolla. My first Corolla saved my life in a crash so I feel very confident with this one. I'm loving the gas mileage (especially these days) and the simplicity of it.

    2) I absolutely would stick with Toyota from now on. I don't like big cars, so if I had my choice of cars to put in my garage, it would probably be an MR-S and an IS300. I'd love being able to choose whether I wanted to go sporty or luxury that day. :D

    2) no, i would not buy another toyota unless i have absolutely no other choice. my next car will be a honda or acura. if i can afford it, a lexus. :D

i'm 100% satisfied with my kickass truck. Planning to keep it for at least 15 years.
as for the 03 corolla, somewhat dissapointed. Will soon be replaced with either a 4runner or a lexus is300 in 3 years.

    1. Definitely I consider myself a Toyota Loyalist. Next would be Nissan. I love the workmanship of Toyota vehicles. My family loves Toyota too. We have a 1992 Previa, 1991 MR2, and 2000 Corolla. My mom wanted the Land Crusier but couldn't afford it, so she turned to Chevy and bought the Astro Van.

    2. I would definitely buy another Toyota.

My whole family drives toyota's. Whenever we get a new car it's been a toyota. but if prices continue to rise on these things i'd get something else.
