    tires with 17"

I'm just about to get my rims and people tell me to get 205/45/17 instead of 40 because is my everyday car what u guys think will the 45 rub and is there anyway to put 215/45/17 because most wheel/tire packages come in 205/40 or 215/45. My car is drop 2" at front and 1.5 at back.

Yeah, stick with the 45's. Besides the other reasons, it will keep your overall tire diameter closer to your stock setup- thus not throwing off your computer.
