Ive done it myself several times when i was younger. Even got some tapes of my friends mp5 sliding around. The funniest part is stealing the trays. Lol we didn't want them to take our plates of our cars (yes we were actually scared to get caught stealing trays) so wed wait for them not to look take our stuff to the trash can and then put the trays under our shirts. Its too bad it wears out in like less than 30 secs.

wimps ;). we would just walk into a fast food place and take them.

me and my friends did this all the time. its best to do it in the rain or snow because the trays dont wear down as fast.

it's just as reckless as doing donuts.

you guys are really overexaggerating this. driving drunk is nothing like spinning around in an empty parking lot.

exactly, if you smack up your own car in an empty parking lot, what innocent person gets hurt? Apples and Oranges.

sorry. when i've seen it happening here in MD, it's when there are people around. so that does, in fact, apply to what i'm trying to say.

But people get hit while crossing the street cause other people aren't looking, does that mean people are stupid if they drive across crosswalks?

I'm not being a bitch, but I think this is an exaggerated topic...stupid people are everywhere, they make bad examples of the rest of us. It's the same reason they put warning signs on everything like, "Turn engine off before installing" on motor fan belts and "do not take orally" on hemmroid cream.

Ya, it is reckless. But i am sure it is a rush. Even though it's illegal as hell, kids are still dumb enough to do it.

...but it's also destructive to property to willingly tray slide.

i'm sorry, i can't see how going out and sliding around on trays is a good thing....to get back to the original topic at hand.

that is true but parking lots are made for cars so its no different than if a car with leaking oil were to use the parking lot. plus if you do it on blacktop (like i do) the skid marks arent very visible.
