just like what the topic says... there are two spyder rides out there... the (toyota) mr2 spyder and the (mitsubishi) eclipse spyder as seen in 2F2F... hmmm... im gonna be biased...

...they both do. both are convertibles. it's not a model name, it's a type of body.

of course the MR2 Spider was not around here.

on top of that, a convertible Mk 1 MR2 existed but not badged as a Spider/Spyder.

I think "Spyder" should apply only to 2 seat convertables. Isn't the mitsu a 4 seater?

its a 5 seater but its pretty hard getting 3 in the back

The only Eclipse that I liked was the gst, older body style. 98ish... I think

i can't say its a pointless thread, i really never knew that the word spyder is coined for convertibles... especially here in asia, we are not aware of such thing...

besides there arn't that many direct swaps avaliable for ZZ chassis engine mounts.. its not like the good o' A series
