1 piece headlamps

The JDM ones and the ones on ebay are basically it as far as headlights go for the AE101. Unlike civics, there aren't a million different styles available.

Ya the JDM ones are on ebay sometimes. I think that I have seen them going for $150.

does anywhere that sells a 1piece headlamps? i saw the jdm ones on vpower. but i dont like them, anywhere that sells them?

Mm.. don't see anything in the lighting nor accessories sections. How much did you pay for the conversion harness? Comes in a set of 2?

I believe the one piece headlights won't fit without the Levin grill, along with some modification to your fenders. Shape doesn't look too right. You're better off getting the current 9005/9006 crystal clears or the koitos/depos(vpower).

the ones on ebay are just crystal clear/ black chrome
all you get is the headlights and your corners would not match
these headlights keep the 9005,& 9006 light bulbs

the depos on vpower are actual jdm headlights and use an h4 bulb they are shorter in length than the usdm ones and you will need to use an aftermarket grill,TRD replica, etc
you will also need to call up toysport and buy a wiring harness to convert the stock 2 bulb system to the single h4 and the corner lenses suposivly (sp?) use a different bulb or lower wattage bulb than the 194's and will bron/burn the clear lens.


i personally have shitty oem headlights and this is what i have learned by doing a little research

Who is toysport? and how can you get a hold of him/her/them? LOL.. Info on that would help anyone who might want to do the conversion. I believe the corner lights use 7440 bulbs. So you have to convert from 194 to 7440.

Let's just set some standard terminology....

- JDM headlights = "Koitos/Depos"
- Crystal and Smoked headlights common on Ebay = "Ebay Crystal/Smoked"
- Levin headlights = "Levins"

you sure bout that? the levin grill and fenders? so why wouldnt they fit on the stock grill and fenders?

levin grill is longer, and without it, u'd have a gap.

not sure about the fenders, but i'm sure it's similar. kinda like when u switch from say gen3 to gen 3.5 stuff on a camry. it looks similar, but not the exact same

There's no need to convert the corner light to 194 because it's not supposed to be constant on... The wedge base bulbs in the headlight housing are the parking lights; the corner lights are turn signals. THIS MEANS NO BURNING OF THE CORNER LIGHTS...

How much simpler do you people need it to be?

Kiotos/Depos NOT JDM Nor are they 1 Peice i have them so i should know
Like someone stated Levin headlights will not fit on a rolla with out the following ( Hood - fenders and grill ) and in that case .. you might as well do a whole front end swap !
