2001 Radio Harness

    2001 Radio Harness

    Can anyone tell me which wires are which? I got a stock radio only part of the original harness and the replacement harness they sell for stock Toyota radios that are labled. I can NOT figure out what the hell is going on. So far I've blown out my dome light fuse, messed up my blinkers and now I have no clock all from trying to match each wire. PLEASE help.

    It's nice to do stuff yourself, but I'd have to suggest professional help. Take it to a car stereo place and have them do it. They charged a whopping $20 to install mine. I can't seem to find any wiring help for the stereo either though, I've searched far and wide on the internet.

    numines - I'm going to give that to my frind and see if he says it's good. He's hooking it up for me. H just doesn't have time to plug and play through them all.

    Craig - I tried them, got one for a 99, but it didn't seem to wire up right. Are the 99 and 01's different?

    Well, hopefully one of these things will work fo me. I need music, hell, I'd settle for talk radio right now. Thanks again for everyones help.

    Another site with SOME info metraonline.com Their site list 70-1761 Toyota 1987-UP into car and also 71-1761 Toyota 1987-UP into factory radio harnesses available. Also crutchfield.com CW
