Supercharged Z8 by Race Marque Systems

I visited Race Marque Systems in August in Los Angeles, Californa and saw this car in action on the dyno which sounded beautiful. The have already done conversions for the M5 E39 for m5board.com member Black M5 and bbloch1114 who each have a supercharged M5 by RMS. Now RMS finished their first supercharged BMW Z8 which has the same engine (S62) as the E39 M5 for member shadowman. RMS had to do certain Z8 specific alterations different for the E39 M5.

Please go here for more backgound info on the conversion from my visit there.

Below is some quotes from the owner.

"She starts and runs like OEM, motors through a normal days activities with only a hint that the system is in place however when you decide it's the time to exercise her.....................HOLD ON!!!

Horsepower with her running 10.5lbs of boost has us at 675 horsepower but you would never know it during normal driving, smooth, very compliant however because of the complete header back exhaust she always snarls even at an idle so there is never a doubt that something is going on under the hood. Put your foot into her had she flat screams, oh my gosh."
