paint for caliper?

    paint for caliper?

    what paint should i use for my calipers? dupli-color? g2? is there a brand to stay away from?

    and do i need to clear coat them?

    Use a high temp paint and you dont clear.

    I got mine from ebay, g2, and you don't have to clear coat, it works really well on its own. the only thing is that you have to do it all w/in an hour or so - which isn't hard at all - b/c the paint starts to clump and stick together like a mix between glue and silly putty which paints bad. i just painted little caps and stuff under the hood, so that's why it became so rubbery, but it stays liquid for a while.

    so they all are about the same as long as they are high temp?

    Buy any kind of High Temperature paint. Engine paint is what I used. You don’t need to clear coat them or prime. You just have to make sure that your surface is clean and dry when you apply the paint. And make sure you let it dry afterwards.
