I personally bought my rims through wheelmax.com n they were awesome w/ service n product quality n shippin n stuff....but anyways, another site i was lookin at while i was in my rim shoppin mood was dragonwheels.com basically the same thing as wheelmax......also, (stating the obvious) check super street magazine, thats how i found out about wheelmax n dragonwheels in the first place...

www.tires.com for tires and wheels. good prices and road hazard warranties available. great prices compared to most other online tire places.

www.streetdreams.org has competitive prices on tuner wheels, no experience with cust. service

i can vouge for dragonwheels not being a scam ive actually seen their retail outlet in miami, i dont know about their shipping and customer service tho

Im very unsatisfied and upset with their service. I order a set of tires and rims a month ago (4 of May) and I still waiting for the tracking number. Ive been calling for two weeks now and they answers with lies. Yesterday was the fourth time they promised call me back with information. Las week they said the same twice and the week before as well. Im tired!

I order a set of tires + rims on May 4th. I was billed the same day!
A couple of days after they call me to charge me the taxes. I ask if they were collecting the taxes in behalf of the Canadian Revenue Agency and they said yes, so I agree with the transaction. The bill to the visa card $ 1,670.00.

I call on May 19 trying to get the tracking number of my order and they don't have any tracking number for me but they promised to call me back once the order shipped.
The 20 of May it was the same history.
The 22 of May it was the same and they promised again! to call back.
The 23 of May they told me that it was a mistake with the color of one rim in the order.
The 26 they havent receive the Order.
The 29 they told me that one of the rims was broken so they haven't be able to ship the order yet.
I ask for a full reimbursement and they want me to pay 20% when they haven't done anything yet.
On June 3 I call again asking for the tracking number they don't have any for my order.
On June 5 I try again but they haven't sent anything so I ask them to cancel the transaction they denied. I ask for a copy of my bill and they send me one for $840.63 whit no taxes in it and with some labour and brokerage fees instead of the taxes they collected from me.
I don't know where those extra charges come from. Their web page doesnt mention any of those charges and specified that the Shipping, the Tire Mount, the Balancing and the Installation are for free.

I dont understand the way they are billing me. Whats going on there!

They dont want to let me talk with any manager or director in the company and they let me on hold at the phone for hours. They lied to me about the calls and about my order and they don't want to give me my money back unless I paid 20% for something they haven't done and is not my fault. They dont want to take any responsibility in this problem.

ive bought 2 sets of wheels from www.edgeracing.com. the first set was for my 1994 turbo civic sedan. they were the spoon knock offs, flik blast. i liked them. and for $500 for wheels and tires, you cant go wrong. my second set was for my 2000 celica. they were 17 in flik wheels. also a good deal imo. about 750 for wheels and tires. however, they may be weak. i hit a dip on the highway and bent 2 wheels. i didnt hit the dip very hard either.

well, ive heard from others, and supposely they are great.

There were a few members that got frustrated from the lack of communication and extremely long shipping delays. Shyguy kept making up excuses as to why he hadn't shipped out yet. And when it did arrive, it was damaged. Then 3 months later, a separate import tax invoice came for shipping from Canada to the US. So if you want to deal with a potentially bad seller and extra fees, go for it.

theres alot of companies on ebay that copied it. guess they found out it was a wrx lip and just cut it down the middle and put it back together. oh wait you have an 8th gen, nevermind...
