it's like going from state to state...every state's got its own flavor. should they all combine into one ginormous state? no...the individuality that spawns these sites is refreshing.

I am happy that CC decided to ditch mercuryboard for phpbb2. I think that mercuryboard is one of the worst boards applications out there. I wish they would have been able to import the old data, but it is better to start fresh than to stick with that old board.

eric, man, you're always welcomed on CC and the other Toyota boards. i'm not sure why it won't let you re-register i messaged the site admin, and he told me to double-check the activation code, since it's case-sensitive. many others have been able to register after you posted. maybe it's something on your end

not sure about why you're no longer a mod, but i certainly hope it wasn't for this thread, b/c it wasn't a flame at all? it was just a way for someone to know about log-in issues, which worked, b/c i saw this thread & passed it along to the site admin

thanks for looking out, i guess i missed the whole thing, i never saw any negative posts, so i guess you got to them beforehand. and yes, we've talked before about bashing, as miniscule or large as it may be, and i work really hard to promote good relations within clubs & boards, which is why i try to register & participate with all the Toyota boards. you're a good, man, Eric, i hope they reconsider & re-instate you as a moderator, i feel we've been able to communicate well over the years, and even business transactions with you & Shyguy have been nothing but stellar, afaik. even heated political debates have been respectful & constructive and i try to keep on top of anything remotely negative regarding other clubs.

anyway, i'll see what else could be up about registering, IM me anything else you need to, man
