    i should have done one while i had mine out, definatly not a fun task, taking it out is, but putting it back in is a pain

    So where is the general areas to remove bolts to get the dash out after already removing the lower pieces.

    man to tell you the truth, there are so many is rediculas, you have to unbolt wiring harness, that blue piece in the middle, need to get unbolted, only way to do it is to hold the dash, and use a shorty screw driver to take them out, cause it will be right up against the windshield
    you need to drop the steering wheel to get it out

    Sounds like alot of work to do. I guess I'll find out myself when I paint it during spring break.

    took only like 2 hours to get EVERYTHING out of the car, just watch what you are doing so you know kinda how everything goes back

    ehhh... unless i get a new dash, i'm not taking mine out to paint it... i'll do what vamp said, fine brush and then spray... after all i am just doing gray

    and to think, all this came out because i broke a shifter cable and was bored, so me and my 2 buddies started taking everything out, my house looked like monster garage with all the interior parts in my garage and driveway

    Man that stinks, but atleast you know how to remove it. I think its better to remove it anyways for painting instead of wasting paper to cover the area and still might have a chance of overspraying and accidently spraying somewhere you don't want to.
