fans on = lights dim

    fans on = lights dim

    not sure which section to put this in, Mods please move to appropriate section :cool:

    on my '00, when the fan, mainly the heater, is on, the lights on the dash lighten and the fan runs faster. then when in idle or cruising speed, the fan slows down & the lights brighten again. could it just be a bad ground somewhere, or a need or battery replacement?

    Normal actually (or so I believe)

    My 01 has been doing it since I bought it. The wipers slow down too. It might be remedied with a hyper ground kit though.

    My wipers slow somewhat. My fan does not drop in speed at idle as much as my previous jap models did, very slight. 00 Corolla

    Have you watched it with a meter attached to see how much it changes ?
