Installing Ball Bearings

    Installing Ball Bearings

    The ball bearings on the front drivers side of my car is completely shot n i need to replace it cuz the noise that its making is very annoying, its throwin off my camber by alot, and neither of these are definately not a good sign. Would anyone know how to do this and how easy or difficult it would be...Thanks ppl...

    I think you should have our shop fix it man. I don't think your garage has the right set of tools to work on it and if something goes wrong, you'll might not be able to drive it.

    You'd have to remove the bearing hub from bottom of strut, ball joint and tie-rod end to have the old bearing pressed out, and press the new bearing in. You would then need an alignment.

    I think they need pressed in and/or out. What year ??

    Too late his bearings are fixed. He had the shop do it for him.
