    Gauge Cluster Inspiration

I was browsing through cardomain.com and i came across this civic. I really like what he's done with his gauges. What do you guys think of this? Anyone know how i could go about doing this?

that looks pretty cool, looks like he took the guages off an older car, pretty retro, but i don't know how you would go about getting them to work (warning lights etc.)

I was thinking of putting chrome rings around my gauges too. It's a nice look that alot of cars like BMWs and Audis have. I was looking at buying the rings from a machince shop, but never got around to finishing the project.

im thinkin of buying my stuff from hobby lobby...i think they sell the right materials that ill need....like the plexy glass, im sure they have the rings, and probably tubes that i can put around the gauges to make it look cleaner....thats just my idea tho, plus im sure it would be more cost effective...

Isn't that the APC cluster for the Civic? Cuz they have ones like that in yellow, and blue, and red, and all those colors

APC is going out of business, I've heard.

Kinda weird, since they're the king of the ricer market.

The clear bumper lens they make for the Celica is pretty popular, though most owners leave the APC part out in their mods list. They have a small selection of parts that are halfway decent, but then they make an intake that "gives more power because of the wider tubing"

I'm going to replace my gauges with a chalkboard, and just write in what my rpm and speed is. I can also put a lot of other details that gauges lack, like gauge if I'm having a good hair day and how much work sucks. My "work sucks" gauge will be the envy of this whole board!
