I got a parking ticket at the state wrestling tournament this week. Is there actually any consequence for not paying it? I was reading the ticket and it says a car with 4 unpaid tickets can be towed, this is my first one. It's also issued by a city that I don't plan on ever being in again for a long time. Anyway I was just wondering if I can be a cheapo and not pay a $15 ticket.

I know in Cali, if you dont pay it, they'll just keeping doubling the fines, until it turns into a warrant.. then you'll get arrested and go to court and have to pay the fine before you get out of jail...

yessir, just pay the $15. At least its not a big fine, but i understand that its an annoying one. If it turns into a warrant then that particular law enforcements' crime division will send out their "special police" units to carry out the warrant, even if it means traveling out of state. I know thats how they do it in Oklahoma.

15 bucks? thats it, damn, i've gotten like three, and they were 45 bucks each plus a three dollar fee for paying w/ credit card over the phone......pay the 15 dollars.

You never know where fate may lead you, you just might end up going back over there. If you get pulled over and a cop runs your plates, it won't help your chances of getting out of a ticket.

Here in Colorado parking fines are like $25 and up.... and it seems they're thinkin on raising the price on that shit again too... they shouldn't even have those parkin meter things... parkin should b free and shit pshh we pay our damn taxes for the love of pete..... stupid goverment *slaps*

Yeah I wouldve been happy to put more money in the meter too but there was a 2 hour limit. I parked there for like 3 hours to watch the wrestling meet.

That's what I hate....they should have like a credit card parkin meter u kno so then it just takes the charges of ur card instead of stupid fuckin tickets and shit..... last yr there were over like 200,000 million greens hangin around just from parkin tickets, fuck that shit man I could be feedin myself better and shit with that kinda money lol

$15 is better than the embarassment of being cuffed in public and arrested when you get pulled over for something else and they run you & find you have a warrant. (Speaking from experience)
