    Decision on new subs.

Well just recently I've been noticing that my subs don't hit or pound hard at all when I crank it up. It also has not been sounding clear and clean as it usually did. I found out that one of my voice coils are fried and I'm thinking my amp is going up in smokes as well cause it doesn't light up anymore telling its getting powered and my capacitor is reading weird also. I'm deciding to throw it all out and do a new system.
    A. Get some 2 MTX 12" T75 or the T85 with a 1000w mtx or audiobahn amp and voodoo capacitor of 1.5 farad or whatever cap I find.

    B. Get 2 12" audiobahn alums with 2000watt power acoustic amp and audiobahn cap or whatever cap I find as well.

    C. 2 Alpine type R's with 2000watt power acoustic amp and whatever cap.

    D. 3 Polk Momos and 2 1000w amp of some sort and some sort of cap.

I'm mainly focusing on the subs I get cause I want one that will last long, but has really great spl and sq.

Hows the clarity on them and have you had them for a while. I had a friend with alums and says he loved them but they fried on him a couple of months later. If I go with the audiobahns I'm not sure how I'll wire it and what amp will go great with it cause the alums are 3,6, and 12 ohm stable.

What the hell are you talking about? Audiobahn BLOWS!!!!!!!!

Out of all those choices. Go with the Alpine Type R's I have heard a lot of subs and audiobahn is trash.

Voice Coils fried a couple months later....clear indicator of quality. Alpine Type R's are some very nice subs and I think they have the capacity to hit very hard.

    Just my opinion though :)

Ya, I'm starting to agree with you guys about the audiobahn's quality. I'm leaning towards Alpines now. I'm just gonna have to wait till summer to get a new system cause I need some engine work done first.

Man I can't believe I forgot about Memphis. If I can get a good deal on those I'm pretty sure I'll go for em. Now to think of it, I got a friend that works at a Memphis distributer store.

comparing my prices and experiences I think the Type R subs are the ones I think I want now. I just wish my subs were messed up again cause I found out that I had a couple of wires pinched when I bolted down the box and floor smashing the wires under it.
