    Offest question

Ok I guess this is the best forum to put this other than suspension. (since it IS anything cars)
    :)
So ok anyone out there know anything about wheel offset?

I am thinking of buying these...

    http://www.subydude.com/parts/detailwheels.php?7171033

    Weight: 18 lbs
    Bolts: 5x100
    Offset 48

They are made for a WRX/STi, but we have the same lug spacing. (different thread though. I found that one out the HARD way.)

Does anyone think the offset would be a problem? Wheel spacing/Offset etc is new to me so I have no idea. I just know that they would look oh so nice on my Black 04 S. :) And would "fit" for the most part.

My roommate is a wrx owner and he got new rims and tires and let me put his old ones on to see how I like em. They seem to fit. (ADR Flite 5 225/40x17)

The reason I say seem to fit is because I tried to fit his 12mm 1.25 lugs on my 1.5 studs (did not know at the time they were different) crossthreading three of my studs which I need to get new ones today. So we got the wheels on but the right rear tire only has two lugs on it.
Long story short, I can't drive it to tell yet...

    :(

    Thanks in advance!

i dun really like those rotas, it looks like ur regular motegi mr7 wheels at pepboys, also rota isnt that great, they make knockoffs of other wheels. if your gonna do it, do it right the first time. save another couple hundred bucks and get some high quality wheels. i made the mistake of going cheap at first so i wasted lots of money on changing wheels till i finally saved enough for the ones i have now.

    Hmm good points..
    I'll keep looking then! :)

I've heard that Volk Rays make REALLY good rims. But they are definetly $$$. I don't want to go cheap either though...

I'm just looking for something different I guess.

I looked at 5Zigen and I really like their rims a lot, but I see them a lot also.
