I've just started getting into it this year. ESPN had a series of Earnhardt Jr.s move to Hendrick racing that initially got me into it, but Kyle Busch is pretty fun to watch too. As DW says its fun watching someone who can drive 3 wide all by themself.

I loved how all the Toyota haters at the beginning of the year were speculating that Toyota wouldnt have a single win this year....hahah..lovin it.

Im a big Tony Stewart fan...been a fan of his since he started racing in dirt sprints, then indys, then nascar.

While doing 200mph and changing lanes with 30+ cars in the way.;)

I dont care to watch it on TV, but I do like to go the races, although Ive only been to a couple. The whole experience of being there is just fun.

Yeah, I guess it's because I always see it on TV which doesn't do it justice. I really should go experience it in person. Hey, I just might have to change my mind. However, what I really want to attend is a rally race! :D

I used to think that, but now that I've watched all the races this season and after seeing how much the drivers have to fight to keep the back-end in line through the turns (you can physically see the drivers correcting several times sometimes), I certainly have more of an appreciation for the sport.

when i was kid i got into dale sr. so over course i like jr also. stewart is another favorite of mine and with gibbs switching to toyota i have to go for hamlin and bush.

i love how people like to put down nascar, but look at the open wheel drivers failing at running nascar. montoya has been able to hold his own, but it will take a few more years to get into contention.

Yeah, rally cars do occasionally go off course and hit people. It reminds me of that old IS300 commercial where the BMW rally car is sliding through a turn and people in sidelines make a run for it. LOL :D

    Don't be a pussy!!!!!!!111!!!1:p

Live stage rally makes Nascar look like 4th of July weenie dog races.

we're having one Memorial Day weekend. It's the real deal:

    the TV commercial for 2007:

Eoin and Steven. I did service for this car at a rally in Texas. Eoin lived here until a few months ago.:

Seamus Burke. That is all, lol:

    another view:

I dunno if you can see him in that clip, but a friend was a press photog from the event. He got shots of that from across the road.

In this one, you can see most of us at the corner, lol:

After seeing this, even live Nascar fails to deliver.

I love watching them in person, but I can't do it on tv. Five minutes after it's on, I'm dozing off on the couch.

I cant stand Kyle Busch. I respect his ability, but dont care for him as a person. Even though hes a team member of my favorite team, JGR.

    check www.nasarallysport.com

There are rally events in California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. There are stage rally events all over the country...you just don't hear about them because in the US, Nascar and NHRA are king. We've got Rally Tennessee in Linden, Cherokee Trails near Chattanooga, and 100 Acre Wood/Trespassers Wi in Salem, MO. That's about a 6 hour drive or so, but it happens in February so there's a 50/50 shot it'll run in snow/ice.

Hell, there was a WRC event in Mexico a few weeks back. One the local board members went. If they have Rally Mexico again, we're all going to try and go down as airfare is cheap as is lodging. It's the closest WRC event to the states.
