lol, one of our Honda dealers got one of these about 2 weeks ago.....they're selling it with a $35k pricetag.

I guess someone just didn't wanna pay dealer markup for an appearance package!

That sucks. Another reason why people should buy that overglorified civic.

The parts for that Civic are made for that Civic alone...I can't go to a Honda dealer and buy the Mugen Seat, wheels, shift knob for my LX.

Biggest reason why those parts where stolen

It's a thief magnet. I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole. You can probably buy all the pieces and assemble your own Mugen Civic in a couple months from all the stolen parts. :D

Ours is 35k....the dealer slapped a 5k markup on it as soon as it rolled off the truck! I told them to point and laugh at the fool who actually pays that much for one.

So a ballpark 40k figure for a Civic? I'd rather put that down on a nice WRX STi.

Everything but the rear = secks. Rear bumper, wing, and lights need to be the Mugen US SI-spec, IMO. But the rest of it, pure secks.

yeah, after taxes, title and license, dealer doc. fees, etc. you'd end up totaling out around 38k for the car.

We had a multi-page argument on a local board about even paying 30k for it. That's IS250 territory for me.....besides all the other 30k worthy cars that are one the market. The dealer markup runs it waaaay beyond sanity.

I personally don't think they'll be able to sell it locally for that much...unless a super nutswinger Honda Fanboi snatches it up. Then you'll see it on a repo lot in 12 months, lol, completely dogged out.

Agreed. You can have an EVO for that much. Or a GTi, or a MS3, or an ION Redline, or a Sky Redline, or .....

Wow. That thing IS sex on wheels, but I still wouldn't buy a Civic. It really is a thief magnet.

btw I love the rear and the taillights.

I know at lest 2 people on my Honda board who bought Mugen and the first thing they did was by top of the line alarms.

I would love to have the rims on my civic.

my dealership put a lowjack on it the second it pulled off the truck...

im still wondering also why they didnt take the spoiler either, other than the shift knob its prolly the easiest thing to steal off the car

the wheels were pretty easy also because the wheel locks are dealer installed and that one didnt have them on yet

No thanks, don't think I'm going to buy another FWD car ever again, especially one that attracts thieves like honey attracts bees.

I'd rather spend it on a used 350Z or MR2 Turbo.

Sheet Maing, I was thinking about a new IS350, lol. Base is about 35k on it.

BTW, to my knowledge, they still have not sold that marked-up-to 35k Mugen SI here. I'm waiting....to laugh at the sucker who does.
