News VICK and Double Standards

A little off-topic...but at work, there is this one black guy who was born and raised in Arkansas in the racist part of the state. He's a good guy and all but he's starting to use the fact that he's black to his advantage. He keeps sending in written complaints to upper management and I didn't have an opinion on it because I didn't see anything happen so I can't say much...yet, everyone who have witnessed the things he complains about say that he blows things out of proportion and he FINDS ways to turn things into a racial issue. And yesterday was the first time I actually saw something he wrote a complaint about and now he has completely lost his credibility. This guy works in maintenance and he works with another old old guy who is white. Well, I work in produce and he was about to come run the floor scrubber through our department. He usually comes over pretty quick cuz he's a fast worker. The lead guy who is over produce and over me usually has to mop for the other old guy because he takes forever and we can't leave standing water on the floor, which produce has a lot of in the mornings after a truck. Well he comes over and says "hey man, why don't you mop the floors for me but you do for the other guy?". My lead goes "because he moves slower than you do and we can't leave water on the floor like that"...and then he was like "yea right, it's because i'm black, i'm not stupid".

I absolutely hate it when black people pull that racism sh*t and start problems...and that's coming from a member of a minority. In Tulsa, I will admit that there is a racism problem with Hispanics....but not with blacks. Sorry for including my rant...on with the topic..

NAACP seems to turns a blind eye when it comes to negative press about a fellow black member.

I just think about it this way: Vick is pleading GUILTY to the charges. He committed a crime, and he's admitting it. There's no racism here at all.

I read where a fellow teammate said that Vick didn't do anything wrong. He said what he was doing was like hunting. People hunt all the time and kill animals so what Vick did isn't wrong.

total bullshit if you ask me. He needs to do the time for what he did. if he knew he was "innocent" then he would of never pleaded guilty to anything. If that was me and I know i didn't do anything, i'd fight to the end. Admitting guilt is just that...he's guilty. but now he's saying that he was part of the group but never killed a dog. yet in the begining he said he didn't even know that was going on, on his property.

fuck him.

If there was no "racial outrage" for them to jump on (or manufacture and jump on, lol) NAACP would cease to have a purpose. I mean, I don't seen them reaching out to impoverished black communities. That's usually the largely white Southern Baptist congregations doing the poor folks house fixup/graffiti scrubbing/cleaning of trash/ delivering of hot meals and such...at least around here. If they want to Advance Colored People you'd think they'd be into education and helping out the poor black communities in America.

We've got one of them here attempting to remove the word "minority" from city business. He says it's often used incorrectly, but it's suspected that it's because white folks/ hispanic folks are the minority here now and he can't handle any minority group but black getting anything extra based entirely on race. The door apparently doesn't swing both ways for the NAACP...not even in the direction of brown colored people.

Last time I went hunting, we didn't drown or electrocute any animals.
