    buying hood pins need help

    hello there i am buying hood pins and need a quick reply. i was wondering if hood pins are universal or if in need to buy specal ones to fit my car(98 corolla). sorry, this qustion might seem really idiotic but i want to be sure before i buy them.

    which one is better the one that has keys, or just the regular hood pins??

    i just put in order in for the ones that lock. because i know that some tool up here in college would pull my hood pins out if i didnt have locking ones.

    yea man, worst investment ever!

    just the regular sparco style ones are best, the locking ones are not load bearing and the lock is useless.

    if you still use your hood latch it wouldn't matter.

    actually in denver it would matter. ive seen people steal hoods with hood pins and the hood latch still on....yeah its crazy in little mexico (federal st.)

    no i mean that some kid would steal the pin itself and then i would have a missing pin. i just know it would happen, i really do not trust people around here on campus when it comes to treating others cars with respect.
