    springs

I got my rolla lowered 2" all around and the back is about 1/4" tucked inside. I just built my sub box which is holding 3 12" subs and amps and cap. Which is going to lowered even more and I'm also putting 205/40/17. I was thinking of putting the oem springs on the back and leaving the front with the drop because once I put the whole stereo on I figure is going to lower it about 1 1/2" on the back. After all that my question is there any problem with leaving it dropped at front and oem at back since is going to have all that weight at back? ( I have kyb shocks and is working really well with the drop)

The handling will be weird. The front will stay planted through corners and bumps, while the rear will bounce more and feel loose. The rear will also react later than the front to steering inputs, which isn't a good situation. Look for some springs that don't provide much of a drop, but increase the spring rate. Maybe TRD or something...

This is all a guess at what I think would happen, mind you. I've never had a setup like that before.

I might just wait 'till I get the rims and have everything hooked up and see how the back looks with the lowered springs

Someone was selling a set of rear Intrax for 40 bucks in the FS/T forum, I think...

Also keep in mind that your system probably won't drop your car as much with the lowering springs as it would have on your stock springs.

my car is a 93 and I really like the 2" drop at front and it wouldnt do me any good to buy a new set of springs just to use the rear ones so I guess after the box weight if it rubs alot I might just have to put the oem ones back and see how it feels and go from there. Handling in corners I dont mind because I didnt buy springs for that just for looks and with 17" rims and the weight in the trunk I dont think I'll be going superfast

looked at that thread and it says 93 to 02 but if you look at the intrax website 98-02 have a slight more drop than the 93-97.Anyone knows what brand has a rear drop btw 1.5 and 1.6 for a 93 rolla?
