    wheel nuts, suggestions!!

    hi, all

getting a set of rims soon...but I forgot the most important thing besides the rims and tires.....the NUTS!! (just what am I thinking....can't go anywhere w/o those nuts)

I am not too familiar with the brands, and those so called "light-weight" wheel nuts, I mean, how "light" is light weight? I have seen some 16 grams nuts, is that light enough?

what are some brands you guys recommend? and of course, within the reasonable price range!

    thanks!!

If I were you, I'd stick with the lugs you already have. Alot of those light wieght lugs are built for thetrack and not everyday driving. A track is smooth an flat, the road is uneven and can have potholes. Lightwieght lugs may eventually crack with normal everyday driving. On the road, the neglible performance gain is not worth the risk.

I stick with the stock unless your rims need other like the tuner ones which I think are thiner but have the same strenght as oem. But not really sure what you need

thanks for all the inputs, ppl!!

one question...are those light-weight nuts more "fragile" than the stainless steel OEM ones? coz that seems to be the conclusion drawn from the above inputs....
