This is a local forum. A guy is selling an 86 gts with a silvertop engine for $600...thought id post it here thinking maybe someone would be interested...

The interior is trashed. That's going to take a lot of work. Just from the pictures, I don't even want to get in the car more less drive it.

not worth the money...buy it and strip it for parts, and recoup the amount spent in the sale of said parts.

i'll take it just for the engine...

dude the engine is probably worth more than the car.. well depending on how many miles are on it

Is that all silvertops are going for? By any chance, do they bolt up to the old 3 spd. automatic transmission?

there is one on ebay for ~$300 right now.

it will bolt to any transmission that any other A series engine bolted to. getting it to work would be a slight challenge, but nothing impossible.

Yeah, I can't imagine ye ole 3 speed would like to rev that high, lol...

Hmm, maybe that guy will have better luck on those forums instead cuz for some reason, everytime a car is posted for sale on that forum, it's usually always sold....

yeah, some poor fop will buy that car, thinking he'll go DORIFTU it around mountain passes.

Now that car is a bit ROUGH. Probably cost more to pickup tow that badboy out of there than what it is worth, even if you do it yourself.

i like the radiator in the front seat...
