    Tail Light Illumination

Im having a problem with my tail lights....they light up when i turn them on, but when i press the brakes, the passenger side works and gets brighter to tell other drivers that im braking.....however, the drivers side tail will not illuminate when i press the brake pedal.....when i turn my headlights off the drivers side will not come on at all.......i knew it wasnt a fuse cuz they still lit up, but i checked newayz and sure enough the fuse on the driver floorboard area had nothing wrong with it.....anyone know whats goin on?

they r dual filament i believe cuz when u turn on your lights they light up...correct? then when u hit the brakes they should get brighter, thus it should be a dual filament...let me know if that solves the problem

oh okay, that makes alot more sense then....i always thought it was just lit up by sending a higher voltage to the bulb or something, never thought bout the dual filament......but yea man, ill definately try n c what happens n let ya kno...

I agree with these guys, it sounds like a bulb is burnt out.
