If its not too bad of a dent, you can get it pulled out, there should be someone in your area that does dent repair, they can usually make it look like it never happened if its not too bad... but if theres rust, you'll need to see if you can get it smooth again, if its just light surface rust, you can grind if off, smooth it out, primer and repaint that panel...

Yep, from the looks of it, that might be your best bet...

You could try fixing it yourself, if it doesn't turn out any better, worse case scenrario you'll have tried something new and will have to replace the panel...

You could always bring it into a local bodyshop and see what they would charge to fix it, in some cases, it might not be that bad...

That dent is pretty hard to fix - I got one that looked almost exactly like that, on the same side no less. The way the bumper cover attaches to the fender in that area and where the metal is dented in, doesn't leave much room to pound out the dent. You could do it - but would almost require some body filler to help fill in any voids that cannot be pounded out.

If you plan on trying to get it fixed, get a wirebrush or similar and get as much of the loose rust off - then smear on a rust preventative or use some primer to help minimize the rusting. Otherwise, you might perforate the panel and then have no choice other than to cut it out and weld on a new piece.

Try taking the panel off and see if you could straighten it out yourself... you never know, you might be able too, it would be a good learning experience (im in the process of redoingt he entire body on my Integra, and ouf, its quite the learning experience :p)

I had several bodyshops quote me about $700-$900 to fix that size of a dent on my car. Bodywork is not hard, but it is an art. You could end up making it look better or worse - but you will learn from it, just like teevee said. Good Luck.

Take lots of pics... and be gentle when banging out the dent... if you hit it to hard, itll stretch the metal too much and could puncture, take it easy, be patient, and with a bit of luck, it might turn out very well...

You could file a claim for it, nothing is too small really, but what is your deductible on your insurance? And is it worth having your insurance possibly go up for something that, in the grand scheme of what can happen to a car, is quite minor?

One you remove the bumper you will notice just how much of a pain in the ass it is to fix it, I had a slightly bigger dent on the driver rear on the same section of my former 98 LE and the insurance just fixed it for me but then again i had a fifty dollar deductable.
