    What does it for you?

so im sitting here listening to bone thugs and harmony (east 1999) and i suddenly get this rush of fond memories growing up as a kid not having a worry in the world except for if i could beat the next level of zelda or get the golden gun on 007 goldeneye. im not old, im only 22... but ive been listening to bone since '95.

what does that for you folks?

    "The Bangles - Eternal Flame"

As gay as that sounds, this song is the only song that makes me think as deeply into my past as I can remember through music. This song was playing when my mom woke me up to tell me she was going to the hospital cuz she was expecting my sister. Plus, I was sleeping in our old house, which was when most of our family lived under one roof since they we're still trying to settle down in America so I guess you can imagine several families living in a small three bedroom house.

garth is another one for me too... i can sit and listen to any of his albums from start to finish and know almost every word. i remember when i was a kid, we would go camping at zion or navajo lake, and we would listen to country the whole way there.

"Box full of sharp objects" and "Buried myself alive"-- The Used
I really started getting into The Used in my senior year in high school (graduated 3 years ago). Another song that brings back memories is "One of a kind" by Breaking Point.
    Damn good memories.
