I heard about this on the radio. Given the presented opportunity to discredit this show, I might have to watch it just to get his phone number for voting. If folks really vote to keep him on I suppose we'll finally get to see if it is in fact a "people's choice" issue...especially if he's in the top 2 or 3.

I've havent kept up with the show lately but I did get into the first couple of them. Sanjaya has a few good moments but overall, is no better than a randomly picked national anthem singer for a highschool basketball game.

Lets say this guy even makes it to the final 2 or even wins, he will never have a singing career. His recording contract won't do him any good, imo.

i actually voted a couple times for him this past time. i think it is great that votefortheworst.com and howard stern got behind this.

lol..its becoming a joke now that he's still on. I read on TMZ that Sony is worried that if Sanjaya wins, they won't be able to sell records. Apparently, they're scared that his music will wear off and not sell. I also heard on the radio that some of the contestants are not happy that he's still on while other better singers are getting axed.

If he does win, I think there is a 50/50 chance that there will be no next season. Reason being is that it has become a joke now and if Stern and votefortheworst.com have that much influence on people, then next year will not be any different. Plus what record company is going to keep offering contracts to a show that will not give them someone who will sell.
