    trick diagnostic codes tool

    somewhere i heard there is a tool of some kind that can be hooked up to the car to trick the engine into thinking its fine when you have a exhaust that doesnt have a catalytic converter. instead of the engine throwing a check engine light code because of the exhaust it doesnt it thinks everything is ok. i need one cuz my exhaust is throwing a p0420 code and dont say its something else cuz its not its the exhaust not having a cat but yea where can i find this tool??????

    Check NewCelica.org for that. You can wire in resistors and a capacitor to trick the ECU. Someone posted the plans on that forum.

    wow, it's getter cheaper and cheaper to trick the ECU for no cat.
    You needed to spend like $200 to buy a simulator thing to trick the ECU couple years ago.
    Not long ago somebody showed that you can buy a bolt thing for like $60 to do the same job.
    Now you can just use couple dollars to use resistors and a capacitor!!! :D :D :D
