I didn't have a problem with the xA's and xB's styling, but I do have a problem with these cars. Ugh.

at its current rate of expansion the xB 4.0 should be the size of a hummer and the xA 4.0 will make the sienna look like a corolla. :/

those look horrible. i always hated the xA and now the xD looks even worse. the xB is ok, but I always like the way the tC was designed.

xD mated w/ the corolla engine (I'm guessin' the 1zz-fe at this point) = faster than the corolla?

this opens up so many more possibilities... xd with the 2zzge and 6m swap, and the xb with ~400hp from a bolt on turbo kit.

I dont think it looks bad. But then again, I like those kinda cars like the Honda Fit, Nissan Cube (which I wish they would bring to the states!), etc....

I remember reading somewhere that they're going to be using the 1ZR-FE. I'll go verify to make sure.

Let me make another assumption to further clarify my previous assumption....

I assume that the xD will be lighter in weight compared to the Corolla (10th Gen), and so I further assume that the xD will be slightly faster than the future Corolla, due to the stated fact that the xD would be using the same engine as the Corolla...and Matrix.

However, since I've read nothing, so far, of the future of the Matrix, I'm assuming the above description is about the current generation Corolla/Matrix...and thus the 1ZZ-FE.

...and no, I'm not trying to make an A** out of "u" and "me".

I actually liked the old xB. This one not so much but it has gotten soo much more power now using the tC engine. The xA and xD look like crap. xB looked very retro (old one) which is why it was probably more popular. This new one sucks imo. But who are we to judge. We only have a side shot of the xB and an angle shot of the xD. I need to see it in person.

i like the new models and the fact there is a better engine selected. decent gas mileage along with different designs. people will complain, but everyone complains when a new car design is released. i see myself in another scion in a few years

I think thats the selling point on Scion's....to be made to look better with the help of aftermarket parts...at least thats what the commercials seem to selling to the public...

the commercials are selling "personalization", but how personalized can it be with the same mods everyone else has from the dealership.
