I'm asking the fiancee for every season she can get her hands on for Christmas this year. Maybe a season for Valentine's, too... :D

CSI: Miami owns. I think I've seen them all cause now they're doing re-runs of it. For some reason I can't get into the CSI: NY. The CSI: Las Vegas is pretty good though.

    CSI RULES! lol.

CSI in general is stupid and about as unrealistic as you can get IMO.

what are your credentials? i cant see how working at a sunglass hut qualifies you as a credible critic on the issue.

can you give any examples of your claims? are you in the "crime solving" and "forensic" field?

IM ASKING THIS SERIOUSLY... i know the show is for entertainment. but i just dont see how the show comes off as grossly unrealistic

im not asking you guys to like the show, im just wondering the motivation behind your seemingly unfounded claims...

I'm thinking about picking up some of the seasons on DVD, since we don't have cable...are any seasons of CSI: LV not worth watching, or are they all pretty good?

This thread lost the majority of the posts......to your post about the classes you were taking...

Are thsoe the only classes youve taken in Criminal Justice? Ive taken all of those classes as well, and its classroom stuff.....not working hand in hand with the forensic team.

They are. I switched out of CJ after realizing it wasn't the path for me. We had multiple occasions where the forensics dept would come out and teach the classes we had while studying forensics. We would spend time in the class room listening to their life stories usually but we did go out and do hands on field work (they would set up mock crime scenes). we didn't do in depth stuff...the stuff you would get in an upper level CJ/Forensics course, but enough to get the gist of things.

Enough research/work to know the basics was learned.

I only answered your question because it was posed, sorry.

im just wondering why you said you had extensive knowledge... and then came back in here and said you only have basic.

i appriciate you trying answering my question, i really do... but maybe next time make sure you dont try to bullshit your involvement within the subject being discussed.

    Opie and Anthony rules.

Of course CSI is going to gloridy and exaggerate......some cities DO have the sweet setup like them, but nothing happens that fast....the forensics team dont interrogate....etc.
