How much money did you spend on your car?

It would be interesting to see how much everyone here spent on modding their cars....please include any labour costs as well.

    Post 'em up :)

12K for the car, with all mods and everything else about another 9K and still going, including four engines two sets of wheels, and other shit , will probably go more than i have ever spent on any vehicle.

At this point somewhere between 25k and 30k. The car was originally 18k brand new out the door. But I blew and engine, did a custom turbo, HID, CarPC, Interrior, 2 or 3 different stereo systems, seats, etc. Lots of expensive stuff :D

    $4500 for my turbo

    about 3k in mods

then crashed it. so far have spent maybe 4k for new parts/upgrades which i am still buying

in the future, maybe 4-5k for bodywork to fix it plus at least 2k for new paint.

it makes me sick to think about how much i have spent so far on a 16 year old car but it will be almost like new once i am done.

right with ya there... however, when my old rolla got totaled i had to come up with a figure (using receipits and such) to figure out all the mods i made and such and it was right around $20k in mods. I almost wanted to shoot myself after seeing that however, lol... this rolla... i'd say i'm under $2500 (but remember i was able to move a ton of stuff over from my other rolla, lol)

long time since iv been here... and on to the topic:
(most of this arent mods, but still money spent on it)
    i have spent about....
    1. $200 - recently changed: spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, belts, head gasket, and got the valves adjusted.
    2. $100 - changed cv joint/boots or whatever
    3. $150 - about 3 change oils (i think) since i got the car
    4. $200 - audio ($50 pironeer 5" speakers & $150 pioneer mp3, satellite ready head unit)
    5. $100 - Tranny flush & radiator flush
    6. $50 - misc (carb cleaner fluid, air filter, air freshener, etc)
most of those i did because its 19 years old and has probably gotten those stuff done yet since it only has about 30k miles in it.

    I still have to do
    • steering flush and also maybe break fluid flush (if there is such)
    • change the suspension because it sounds funny on bumps.
    • get the engine bay washed (anyone got tips)
    • and buy or make a trunk lid/cover (anyone know where to find one?)

yes... alot of things to get done....

$45.00. Enough to buy the amp kit and speaker wires to install the bass tube (I've had it for years now). nothing else is being done to the car. Oh and the fishing line to debadge the car was found in the basement somewhere so I can't include that in the total amount..lol.

Sadly, probably around $2K on the Corolla. And then the car was totalled and some stuff was stolen.

On the Civic, around $800 on rims/tires/install

On the Mazda, $0 so far and I'll probably keep it below $1K easy.

On my 92 Camry I spent about $13,000 in repairs and mods over 8 years, several different rims/systems/everything else. Coming up on $4000 on the 03 Camry. (B/C of more hook ups and just smarter on shit!)
