Are all the celica gts the same.
Iv been searching and it will say that the 2000 and 2001 did 0 to 60 in 6.6 sec.
And it said that the later years were like 7.1 and so on with the quarter mile times??
    is this true?
    thanks.

they are the same, but the 2zz had some horsepower adjustments and other things added on for emissions.

they lowered the rev limiter and modified the shift pattern as well. people were grabbing second instead of fourth and blowing engines in the early cars.

acceleration times will depend largely on the skill and competence of the driver.
the lift bolts where fortified in later celicas as well.

the early 2zz's also had major problems with valve tap and connecting rod bearing issues more than the 1zz, later models that had been modifed have less problems, and are more well rounded for modifications.
